INGREDIENTS
400g of lean minced meat (beef or chicken)
1 can of 400g crushed tomatoes
2 tablespoons of Matana pure cocoa powder
1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of Italian herbs (oregano, thyme)
Salt, pepper, olive oil
PREPARATION
Finely chop the onion and garlic.
Fry in a drizzle of olive oil until translucent.
Add the minced meat and cook for 5 minutes.
Stir in the chopped tomatoes, herbs, salt and pepper.
Add the pure cocoa and mix well until it dissolves.
Simmer for 20 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Serve with al dente wholemeal pasta.
