PILI-PILI PIZZA OIL

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 ml extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon of Madagascar pili-pili powder (adjust according to the desired spiciness)

  • 1 clove garlic (crushed or finely minced)

  • 1 sprig of rosemary (optional)

  • A few grains of wild black pepper (optional)

  • 1 small sterilized airtight glass jar

PREPARATION

  1. Gently heat the olive oil in a small saucepan (without boiling it).

  2. Add the garlic, rosemary, and wild black pepper, if using. Let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes over low heat.

  3. Remove from heat, then stir in the Madagascar pili-pili powder .

  4. Allow to cool completely , then pour into a clean glass jar or bottle.

  5. Close tightly and let infuse for at least 24 hours before use (ideally 3 to 5 days for a more intense aroma).


Tips for use:

  • Pour a few drops over your pizza just before serving.

  • Also perfect for enhancing bruschetta, pasta, or even a homemade vinaigrette.
