SHRIMPS WITH TURMERIC AND KAFFIR LIME

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g of shrimp with tail

  • 1 can of coconut milk

  • 1 basil leaf

  • 2 shallots

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 pinch of kaffir lime

  • salt and pepper

PREPARATION

Sauté the shallots and garlic cloves until golden brown.


Add the shrimp and fry for 5 minutes.


Add the coconut milk and turmeric and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.


At the end of cooking, add salt, pepper and the kaffir lime.


Serve with white rice.
